The Atlanta-Favorite 2019 Kia Optima is Brimming with Tech Features
Confusing Kia’s practical midsize family sedan for its all-new Stinger sports car is a pretty big compliment–especially coming from professional car reviewers.
But in Roadshow’s video review of the 2019 Kia Optima, a double-take did happen when they first laid eyes on this handsome, refreshed new sedan.
We’ll detail a few of Roadshow’s top favorite features, or you can watch the video above.
While the base engine in the refreshed 2019 Kia Optima is a practical and fuel-efficient four-cylinder, there are two exciting turbo options available for the new model-year, as well.
A 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, good for 178 horsepower, can be found on mid-level models and is peppy enough to excite the senses without compromising too much on fuel economy or commuter-friendly cruising.
Opt for a range-topping 2019 Kia Optima trim level for a 2.0-liter turbo engine making 245 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
Connectivity and Safety Tech
Kia knew what the people wanted–so, the new 2019 Kia Optima is fully loaded with a huge list of standard and available safety features, connectivity tech, and premium options. Driver assistance is supported by standard Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Rear-Cross Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping Assist, and Blind-Spot Monitoring.
Adaptive Cruise Control can be found on the top trims.
In infotainment, Kia offers three flavors of its classic UVO system: UVO Play, UVO Link, and UVO Link w/ Navigation. Even the base system comes standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while top systems add a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot and navigation.
If you’re looking for a ton of value for the money, in a car that truly looks great, put the 2019 Kia Optima at the top of your considerations list when shopping near Atlanta.
