Kia’s 10-Year/100,000-Mile Warranty:
What You Need to Know

When you drive a new Kia, you’re covered by our comprehensive warranty program, designed to give you peace of mind for years to come:

• 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty
• 5-year/60,000-mile limited basic warranty
• 5-year/100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty
• 5-year/60,000-mile roadside assistance plan

Important Note: While your warranty covers many aspects of your vehicle, it doesn’t include routine maintenance (like oil changes, filters, tires, belts, and brakes). We recommend following the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule to keep your coverage valid.

More Warranty Details:

• Your coverage is based on either the years or mileage, whichever comes first.
• The 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty covers nearly everything, excluding regular wear-and-tear and external damage. This warranty is transferable if you sell your Kia.
• Audio system: Covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles.
• By federal law, the main computer/electronic control module is covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles.
• The 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty goes above and beyond, covering critical components like the engine, transmission, wheel bearings, and axles. Please note, this coverage is not transferable.
